Hi! I’m Katherine, the owner and photographer behind Coastal Image Co. I’m so glad you’re here! I was born and raised here in Jacksonville, Florida. I’m a proud mama to a 12-year-old boy, a partner, a twin sister (fraternal), and someone who’s always had a passion for anything creative. Whether it’s being behind the camera, painting a landscape, decorating my home, or tackling a new DIY project, I love bringing beautiful things to life.

My photography style is timeless, joyful, and full of light. My goal is to create photos that take you right back to the moment they were captured—so you can relive those feelings, laughs, and love for years to come.

Photography has been part of my story for as long as I can remember. My dad handed me his old camcorder when I was a little girl, and I was hooked. I was the kid documenting everything—birthdays, random afternoons with siblings, family vacations - I loved it. When I reached my senior year of high school, it was my turn to be in front of the camera. This was the first time I realized I could make photography a career.

I poured my heart into learning everything I could about the craft, from volunteering with wedding photographers to reading every book I could get my hands on. What started as a passion quickly turned into a career, and since launching Coastal Image Co. I’ve been lucky enough to work with the most incredible families.

Over the past 13 years, I’ve refined my style and approach to create images that are not only beautiful but also meaningful. My sessions are relaxed and fun—I promise to keep you laughing (or at least smiling) the whole time! You’ll leave with more than just photos; you’ll leave with memories to cherish forever.
